Mathematics Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They support students in developing their knowledge, understanding and skills in mathematics and working mathematically. Mathematics Teachers encourage mathematical thinking through questioning, communicating, reasoning, and reflecting and help students generalise, find connections, and think critically and creatively, using appropriate technology to support mathematical activity. Mathematics Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence. There is scope for an appropriately qualified candidate to be considered for an Assistant Head of Faculty role.
