The Administration Officer plays a vital role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of the College, contributing to the overall success and well-being of students, staff and the College community. This role oversees and supports the day-to-day administrative tasks in the Distance Education team and across the wider College, as required.
About The Role
- Manage a wide range of school communications – face-to-face, emails, phone calls
- Manage student enrolment and attendance data in Sentral (a school management system)
- Organise and maintain the front office working area, when required
- Attend to unwell students, and administer first aid, when required
- Organise stationery and grocery orders for the campus
- Attend to any other tasks as requested by the Manager of Distance Education or Deputy Principal
- Required to work some non-term time.

About You
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a Receptionist/Administration role with previous experience in an education setting an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Well organised and possess excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, and have the ability to multi-task and balance competing demands and priorities
- Enthusiastic, and have a professional attitude with the ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure
- Capacity to deal with student and parent/carer enquiries in a calm, effective, and professional manner
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support College operations and maintain confidentiality.
