We are seeking a warm, skilled and proactive School Psychologist (ELC–Year 2) to join our School Psychology Services team at the Northbridge Preparatory School campus.
This part-time fixed-term role (0.4 FTE, Monday and Tuesday) runs from June 2026 to October 2027 and offers the opportunity to work closely with young students at a formative stage of their development. You will partner with teachers and families to support student wellbeing, learning and early intervention within a highly collaborative and well-resourced environment.
Whether you are currently working in a school or looking to transition from private practice, this role offers the chance to focus on preventative and early support, helping students build the foundations for healthy learning and wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Provide assessment, counselling support and intervention for students with emotional, social and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students’ wellbeing, learning and adjustment to school.
- Deliver early intervention and small group programs.
- Contribute to a whole-school approach to wellbeing and child protection.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with APS and AHPRA guidelines.
About You
- You are a registered psychologist (AHPRA) who enjoys working with young children and partnering with families and educators.
- You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound clinical judgement and a collaborative approach.
- Experience in educational or early childhood settings is welcomed but not essential, what matters most is your ability to connect with students and contribute positively to the school community.
