Working collaboratively within a team, the Business Manager will partner closely with the Executive Principal, College Business Manager, and Heads of School to effectively manage the college’s human resources functions
About the School
Stretton State College is a high performing P-12 school located on the Southside of Brisbane (approximately 35 minutes from the CBD) comprising two campuses with an enrolment of nearly 3600 students. About the role
Oversee and coordinate HR processes to deliver efficient support for the school, including providing advice on HR matters, legislation, and administration. Manage the School Budget Solution (SBS), including profiling, credits, usage, and staff leave, while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Lead and manage HR functions for support staff such as recruitment, induction, training, workforce planning, and performance management. Support change initiatives with the Principal, ensure compliance with relevant standards and awards, and foster a positive, high-performing work environment. You need to be a strong communicator with great time management and previous experience relevant to the role to be successful.
