Lead the delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects that shape the future of our schools across North Queensland.

As Capital Projects Lead, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering capital works across Townsville Catholic Education. From initial planning through to completion, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in alignment with diocesan standards and educational priorities.

Working closely with contractors, consultants and school leaders, you’ll oversee both minor and major works while balancing timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations. You’ll contribute to long-term planning through facilities condition reporting, support the development of new capital assets and masterplans, and ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, compliance requirements and funding approvals.

You’ll bring strong experience in construction, facilities or project management, with a solid understanding of building compliance, WHS and project delivery in complex environments. Confident managing multiple priorities, you’ll be a proactive problem solver with the ability to build strong relationships, influence outcomes and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Your attention to detail, resilience and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes will see you thrive in this role, along with a genuine alignment to the mission and values of Catholic education

Townsville Catholic Education has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct working with children checks and background referencing for all staff.
