Join our team as a Primary Teacher- Primary at Good Shepherd Catholic School,Townsville!
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher who hold relevant tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. We currently have a Year 6 Classroom Teacher full-time, fixed-term position available commencing 13 July 2026 for the remainder of the 2026 school year.
Successful applicants will join a supportive team of committed educators who work collaboratively with families to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for every student. With a strong understanding of contemporary teaching practices, you will be confident in adapting your approach to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring each child feels included, valued, and capable of success.
Through engaging and creative lessons, you’ll spark curiosity and a love of learning, set clear expectations, and continually reflect on your practice to drive improvement. Using a range of assessment strategies, you’ll monitor progress, celebrate growth, and provide meaningful feedback that empowers students to thrive.
