About our school
St William's School is a Catholic Primary School in the north-western suburb of Keperra, Brisbane. We are a co-educational school catering to the academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of all our students. Our enrolment of over 510 students from Prep to Year 6.
St William’s is set on a 4.5-hectare site, with a large oval, covered basketball court, huge hall and multiple playgrounds for different year levels and ages. All our classrooms are air-conditioned, with digital throw-down screens, and all classrooms are extremely well-resourced to help support the teaching and learning needs of our staff and students. We are a One-to-One iPad school, and this program starts in Year 2. We offer specialist subjects in Japanese, Digital and Design Technologies, Performing Arts and PE.

- Salary: $84,078 - $121,093 per annum + super (commensurate with experience)

About the opportunity
The Learning Enhancement Teacher supports high‑quality teaching and learning across the school through collaborative practice with classroom teachers. Working primarily within a co‑teaching model, the role focuses on enhancing student access to the curriculum, with targeted support for identified learners, including students for whom English is an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD), as part of a broader learning enhancement responsibility.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
- Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
- Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
- Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
