The Role

Education Assistants hold a valued position in our team. Applicants should have knowledge of students with additional needs, and the capacity to support students with social skill development and emotional regulation. Experience supporting students from English as an Additional Language/Dialect backgrounds will be highly regarded. We strive for an inclusive school environment that caters for students with a diverse range of support needs both academically and socially.

Education Assistants support students and classes across a wide range of curriculum areas and year levels within the school. Suitable applicants will ideally possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with teachers to scaffold the curriculum and provide learning adjustments. Experience with Literacy and/or Numeracy intervention would be advantageous. It is important that applicants have a positive attitude and the ability to show initiative. We expect that our team members promote the school’s vision to ‘be our best – for every learner, every day’ and contribute to the delivery of whole school approaches. We are seeking team members who are committed to excellence and who are keen to further develop their skills in a team-oriented and supportive environment
