Do you want to be part of building a school from the ground up?

Are you an energetic, forward-thinking professional who thrives in dynamic environments? Do you bring a collaborative, can-do attitude, with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn? This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing a brand-new primary school in its foundation years.

Banksia Grove West Primary School (BGWPS) is a new Primary School scheduled to open in 2027, catering for Kindergarten to Year 6, including an Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP). As the school is in the early stages of planning, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of systems, structures, culture and operational practices from inception.

The Manager Corporate Services (MCS) is a key member of the school’s leadership team and will work closely with the Principal to establish and lead the school’s corporate operations, supporting the successful opening and ongoing growth of the school.

The Role

The successful applicant would be responsible for managing the financial, physical and human resource operations of the school and for leading and supporting school support staff. As a foundation appointment, the MCS would play a critical role in establishing compliant, efficient and future-focused systems that support high-quality teaching and learning.

We are seeking a vibrant, creative and solution-focused leader who demonstrates initiative, adaptability and strong relationship-building skills. You will ideally be comfortable working in an evolving environment, contributing ideas, and embracing new learning as the school grows.

Experience working in a primary school context, particularly with Department of Education systems and programs, a keen interest in Public Relations and marketing will be viewed favourably. The school will commence operations with Phase 2 of the Kaartdijin Program. The successful applicant will ideally be confident in the use of Compass and motivated to accept the challenge of training and upskilling others.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a foundation leadership team and help shape a school culture that is inclusive, positive and community-focused from the very beginning.
