This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

Kambalda Primary School (PS) is a small regional school approximately 631km north-east of Perth and 58km south of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the nearest regional city. The Role

We are actively seeking a primary teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills, a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary teacher at Kambalda PS you would enjoy being a part of a supportive and enriching community and staff. The successful applicant would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.  At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
