The Role

We are seeking a School Officer to join our team and provide exceptional customer service through reception duties, general clerical and administrative support, and maintaining school facilities and resources. You will be the first point of contact for our school, responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to our students, parents, and visitors.

In this role, you will also be responsible for distributing and collecting documents, forms, and mail, as well as collecting and receipting monies in accordance with departmental procedures. You will assist with maintaining school facilities and equipment, arranging catering for school functions, and making travel arrangements for school staff.

You will play an important role in supporting student-related activities such as maintaining student attendance records, generating routine reports and correspondence related to absenteeism, assisting with student enrolment procedures and handling information relating to school bus timetables.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

  4. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
