Youth Worker

<p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Support and mentor young people to set goals and develop their personal growth</li> <li>Design and deliver engaging life skills workshops (online and in-person) that build confidence and resilience</li> <li>Case manage individual students, including developing plans, monitoring progress, and making referrals where appropriate.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and support services to ensure holistic support</li> <li>Document progress and maintain accurate records</li> <li>Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment</li> <li>Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities</li> </ul> <p>What you'll need</p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience working with young people</li> <li>Relevant qualification in youth work, social work, or a related field (minimum Certificate IV or equivalent).</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with youth</li> <li>Understanding of youth development and contemporary issues</li> <li>Commitment to inclusive support practices</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check</li> </ul> <p>About Inventorium</p> <p>Inventorium delivers a range of learning opportunities for students who may not thrive in mainstream settings. &nbsp; Inventorium Academy Ltd is a special assistance school based in Pulteney Street, Adelaide and also provides a tailored learning case management provision to schools, as well as supporting the students enrolled with the Academy directly. &nbsp;</p> <p>We are an <strong>equal opportunity employer</strong>, committed to building an inclusive workplace that values diversity and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities.
